"Popcorn Lung" or Obliterative Bronchiolitis is a permanent obstruction of the smallest airways of the lungs or bronchioles, caused by the inhalation of certain chemicals - Diacetyl, 2,3-Pentanedione and Acetoin. These chemical are specifically prevalent in the popcorn, flavoring, candy and coffee manufacturing industries.
